When and Where
The PIEoneer Awards 2021 will be held on Friday 3rd September at London's historic Guildhall. There will also be a virtual awards platform, so delegates who can't join us live on the night can experience networking with delegates, finalists, sponsors and judges.
Our event platform will be open from Wednesday 1st - Tuesday 7th September. All guests, whether they are attending in-person or virtually, will be able to connect and network with other guests during this period via online chat and video meetings.
Virtual guests will watch a live stream of the awards ceremony via our event platform, and will be able to take part in a speed networking session while in-person guests are eating their meal.
We will also be running two group networking sessions, one before and one after the awards ceremony:
- Wednesday 1st September at 17:00 BST
- Tuesday 7th September at 17:00 BST
Details of how to access the event platform will be emailed to all attendees prior to 1st September.

Important information for finalists
Should you win an award, your name will be announced by the presenter and you will need to make your way to the stage. Access to the stage will be from the right-hand side (as you face it), but our staff will be on-hand to guide you. On reaching the stage, you will be handed your award and congratulated by the presenter. You will then have your photograph taken with the award presenter. Please exit the stage from the same side you walked on, through the side door which is located on the stage. You will then have another photograph taken and be shown back to your seat. Due to time restrictions, only the winners of the 'PIEoneer of the year' and ‘Outstanding contribution to the industry’ awards are able to make 2-minute acceptance speech. Once the awards ceremony and dinner has finished, all award winners should come to the stage in the Great Hall for a group photograph.
