Why you should get involved
The PIEoneer Awards are now in their 9th year and have become a well-established fixture in the global education industry’s annual schedule of events. They celebrate innovation and achievement across the whole of our sector.
Entering the awards is a fantastic opportunity for you and your team to gain global recognition of your work – there is significant coverage of finalists and winners on The PIE News, which reaches 2 million people each year.
The event will be held on Friday 5 September 2025, at London's Guildhall.
Guests will include a unique cross-section of influencers, decision makers and thought leaders from higher education, commercial education, language teaching, education agencies, professional services and government bodies around the world. So, get involved by entering the awards and attending either in-person or online – be inspired by the latest innovations taking place across our sector and make lots of valuable new connections!

What an exciting whirlwind September!
It all kicked off with The PIEoneer Awards at the iconic Guildhall. A huge shoutout to The PIE team for organising such an incredible event and bringing together the entire #intled community. It was amazing to celebrate the winners and witness the resilience, innovation, and dedication of our industry.
On Friday night we attended the fabulous #PIEoneer24 in London. It was a spectacular evening and was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet lots of new colleagues in the industry. A huge congratulations to all the winners on the evening and to all the nominees.

I am so honoured to have been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution to Industry Award along with thought, innovative, and excellent leaders from higher education globally. This category recognizes individuals who have helped evolve or shape the global education sector in a significant way. People who have dedicated their career to influencing or changing the landscape of our industry in a positive way.

The PIE did it again, a fantastic PIEoneer Awards which was extra special because we were able to celebrate Password | English Language Testing with our valued university partners and friends.
A wonderful evening celebrating the winners and finalists at this year’s hashtag#PIEoneer awards. Always a fantastic event, but extra special this year as we remembered our great friend and colleague Charlene Allen with an award for inspirational leadership. So proud to see Jacqui Jenkins win this inaugural award, richly deserved.

Great to catch up with everyone at #PIEoneers24 yesterday evening! As usual, a brilliant showcase of good practice in our sector and this year seemed to be an even broader mix of excellence from individuals from all corners of hashtag#IntlEd, as well as agencies and universities of diverse shapes and sizes from across the globe.
