How much does it cost to enter an award category?
There is no charge to enter. Each entrant can enter a maximum of three categories (if a company is entering via multiple divisions then each division is treated as a separate entrant).
For what period does an entrant have to demonstrate relevant achievements for each category?
We are looking for achievements to have taken place between 1st January 2017 and 31st December 2017 for all categories apart from Outstanding contribution to the industry, which has no timeframe attached to it, and International alumni of the year - entrants must have graduated from 2014 onwards.
How will the awards be judged?
The PIE will produce a shortlist of finalists for each award category by reviewing the information provided on the entry forms. A maximum of four shortlisted finalists for each award will be selected. The panel of judges, all of whom are independent of The PIE, will then judge the shortlisted finalists for each award category and select a winner in each.
How will we know you have received our submission?
You will receive an email letting you know that it has been received. You can edit your submission at any time up until the entry deadline by logging in to your account.
When will the shortlist be announced?
The shortlist will be announced the week commencing 28th May 2018. Finalists will be notified by email.
Will I receive feedback on my entry?
We will endeavour to provide a selected highlight from the judging panel that each finalist is able to use publicly.
If I win, do I get to make a speech?
No, there are no winners’ speeches, other than the winner of the Outstanding contribution to the industry award. All winners will collect their award on stage.
How many people will attend the awards ceremony?
We are expecting a global audience of 350 people to attend.
Will I be able to purchase a ticket on the evening?
No, the ticket booking deadline is Wednesday 29th August.
What happens if I buy a ticket but am unable to attend?
Tickets are non-refundable but you can nominate someone else to attend in your place. If you cannot make it or are sending a colleague, please let us know so we can arrange the seating accordingly.
Will the seating be pre-organised?
Yes. If you would like to sit with someone who is coming, please make a note of this when you book your ticket.
