Ailsa Lamont

Director and Founder
Pomegranate Global, Australia

After 16 years in the university sector in Australia, including 10 years in senior international roles, Ailsa switched her focus to climate change. In 2016 she set up Pomegranate Global, a company specialising in helping the international education sector respond to the climate challenge. In 2019 she co-founded CANIE: Climate Action Network for International Educators. Her work focuses on how the climate crisis can be transformed into an opportunity to improve the business of international education: to reshape global mobility and international recruitment operations to factor in environmental costs and to engage international students through climate action.
